Freediving Master Program - Wave 3
Our Master Program is a transformative experience for dedicated freedivers. Learn from experienced coaches, dive alongside like-minded enthusiasts, and unlock your full potential in the underwater world.

The Master Course is an intensive, internship-style program designed to elevate your freediving skills to the next level. The program lasts a minimum of four weeks, and participants must hold a minimum of Wave 2 certification or equivalent. Upon completion, you'll be well on your way to becoming a truly aquatic mammal.
This program focuses on developing both your skills and knowledge. We'll cover a wide range of disciplines, including static apnea, dynamic apnea (with and without fins), constant weight (with and without fins), and free immersion. You'll not only master these techniques but also gain the essential tools to continue your freediving journey with dive buddies for years to come. Additional topics include deep reverse packing, mouthfill, and freefall.
Many students choose to complete their Wave 3 certification during the program, as it's a superior option to the standard Wave 3 course, which typically spans only a few days. Mastering the depth skills and techniques taught in our program requires dedicated time and practice.
As a Molchanovs Wave 3 Freediver you are already halfway on your journey to becoming an aquatic mammal. You will be able to comfortably dive from 34 to 40 meters deep, demonstrate proper technique in all pool and depth disciplines and you will develop an understanding of advanced physiological and mental implications. In this course, you will also reflect on ancient freediving practices and how these transformed into modern freediving.
You will expand your mental toolbox by learning how to use attention deconcentration, which is a completely different mental approach to your dives. Your deep diving will benefit from advanced equalization approaches that combine the Frenzel maneuver either with the mouth-fill or reverse packing. There will be plenty of exercises available for you to master both of them over time. You will also learn how to simulate depth with Functional Residual Capacity (FRC) dives and how to prevent depth-related injuries. Packing, reverse packing, flexibility training and the according knowledge when and how to apply these techniques (and when not to!) will enable you to expand your limits while staying always safe.
You'll dive with an experienced coach multiple times per week, but you'll also have the opportunity to practice and implement what you've learned with fellow Master Course students. This program fosters a strong freediving community, encouraging shared experiences, from training and meals to exploring nearby wrecks and reefs. We often enjoy spearfishing, cooking our catch, and relaxing at our beachfront property.
For those who progress rapidly, we offer the option to assist with our courses, helping with buoy management and setup. This is entirely optional.
