The Molchanovs Instructor Course is designed for experienced freedivers who are ready to transform their passion into a professional career.
This course will prepare you to confidently teach freediving, lead students safely in both pool and open water environments, and represent the Molchanovs education system to a professional standard.
Throughout the program, you’ll deepen your understanding of freediving theory, coaching methodology, safety procedures, and student development. Special emphasis is placed on communication, leadership, problem-solving, and creating a safe, supportive learning environment for future students.

By the end of the course, successful candidates will have the skills and confidence required to independently teach Molchanovs freediving courses and conduct training sessions safely and professionally.
Outstanding candidates may also have the opportunity to assist on real courses and be considered for future work opportunities within our school.
Prerequisites
To join the Instructor Course, students must:

Hold the required Molchanovs certification level (or equivalent crossover certification)

Be comfortable and experienced in both pool and depth disciplines

Demonstrate strong safety awareness and buddy skills

Have previous experience assisting courses or training with other freedivers

Meet the minimum performance requirements outlined by Molchanovs
Course Details
Duration: Flexible depending on candidate readiness and evaluation process
Additional coaching or training days may be recommended before certification.

Requirements
To join the Instructor Course, students must:
